When was the last time you did something for the first time?

With the exception of few people, most of us have your next day pretty much figured out. Plans. Plans of sleeping whole day long. Plans of eating snacks, biscuits, cookies, and what not. Plans of may be opening a book and then sleeping under its shade (with the book lying over the eyes). Plans of procrastinating. And may be, if you’re a busy person, plans of strictly following your work schedule.


So what really happens tomorrow, all the same. Sure, we all have unexpected visits/meetings by some acquaintances a.k.a. dirty face offs with some annoying people. Sure, you might get to eat sushi today for a change, or perhaps today you’ll get some time to sit around and solve a sudoku puzzle. But, in a nutshell, it’s nothing extra-ordinary. (I’m assuming you’re no hitch hiker.)


Now, coming to the main point. When was the last time you did something for the first time? I’m sure you’re not perfectly happy with your life right now. There must be at least one thing you’d like to or you should change about yourself or the way you live (one suggestion: Go read something better :P). It’s a matter of will and more importantly, the inner thrill you might feel thinking about how’d it be if you do *it*. Do you remember how your face used to light up when you used to go bathing in the morning as a kid, or only find the television remote or perhaps, only after watching your favourite cartoon? Don’t you miss that level of enthusiasm and/or eagerness you had back then? Now, there’s nothing that could make you feel like that. I mean, if there’s something like that and it’s legal and morally fine by you, what the eff are you waiting for? Stop reading and eff off (unless that is reading blogs. :D)


Now, if you’re still here, I’ll take that you’ve no such passion, nothing that quite makes you feel alive, or anything close the way I feel when I sleep. 😛 So, should I also assume that you’re gonna be the same sane person you’re right now and do what you have to do and what society expects you to do? Because if that’s the case, I don’t think why should you exist? There must be something you were meant to do? Was it leading a normal life and doing what you do? Perhaps, but you’d never know what more you could be without trying. I suggest, you take a moment for yourself. Introspect. At least come up with one new thing you’d like to start or do. And make up your mind for it. Get excited about it. Jump and may be somersault with delight that you decided to finally do this. (I hope you had always wanted to try that.) Good luck!
